This afternoon, Monday, April 6, 2009, the installation of Officers for Chapter 351 and Ladies Aux was conducted at the Highland Center, Shreveport, La. Prior to the installation a dinner was set up by the Ladies Aux and the Volunteers of Amnerica. Our guest speaker by Mr. Brian Byrd, Vice President of the VOA for NW Louisiana. His presentation dealt with a project that the VOA has taken on dealing with Homeless Veterans. He gave a meaningful presentation and was well received by the members.
