LA Veterans Home in Jackson celebrated Veterans Day with a ceremony; re-opening
of Greenhouse and Gift Shop.
The Louisiana Veterans Home, located near Baton Rouge in Jackson, held an annual
Veterans Day Celebration on Thursday, November 10th. At the event, resident Veterans, their
families and guests were treated to a special Veterans Day ceremony followed by lunch and a Grand re-opening reception
at the newly renovated Gift Shop. The Gift Shop featured craft items created by Veterans who reside at LDVA's five Veterans
homes as well as items grown in the newly re-opened Greenhouse located at the Jackson facility. Other items such a candles
and artwork were available for purchase.
