SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

Being held at Five Lakes Campground near Bush, LA off of Highway 40.  For Cub Scouts 7-11years old, their siblings and Boy Scout volunteers.

The property upon which the Day Camp operates is owned by Robert Miller and James Stillwell at no cost to the Scouts.

We will have 250 Scouts on week one and 180 Scouts on

week two.  Also 140 Adult volunteers will be on hand.

Activities will be: BB Gun Shooting, Archery, Sling Shot, Waterfront, Scout Crafts, Crafts Skills, Nature, Geology, Engineering and Naturalist.

b  Pack 85 Movie Night at American Legion Post 16 on July 18th. Legionnaires are invited.  On the agenda is: One Movie, Popcorn, No Soda’s, just Gatorade and water. Pizza’s will be delivered between 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm.

b  New Leadership Essentials Training, April 21 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church.

b  Leadership Special Training, April 23^rd at St. Timothy United Methodist Church.

b  PACK 85 held End of Year Party at Kids Konnection (Tammany Trace at Koop Drive) to recognize adults and advancement of all scouts to next higher rank

b  Pack 85 Swim Test, May 23^rd.

b  District Camporee at Avondale Scout Reservation located on LA Highway 10, three miles east of Clinton, Louisiana in East Feliciana Parish, April 24th – 26th.

b  Family In Need:  A fundraiser for a needy family is in the planning stages.  The possibility of a Cabbage Ball Tournament (entrance fee required) where a minimum of

equipment is needed. Scouts will sell food and drinks.
