Robert H. Burns American Legion Post 16 presented a new Flag to Covington Elementary.  Making the presentation were Flag Chairman Clint Lounsbury and Post Commander Michael Peats, receiving the Flag for Covington Elementary were Susan Wolfe, Assistant Principal and Martha Romo, Principal.  The American Legion is available to provide Flag Etiquette and Flag Presentations to all local schools and can provide flags to replace those that have become worn and tattered.  The American Legion Post 16 holds a Flag retirement Ceremony to properly dispose of the Flags; this Flag Retirement Ceremony is open to the Public.
